Superman is easily comparable in energy output, destructive power. When he tapped intom his innate dormant(Not up for debate, see Countdown arena) energy manipulation aspect of his powerset as Electro Supes, he was a more talented tactical energy manipulator than Surfer or Thor has ever been in a far shorter period of time.

Superman is objectively an abstract level being, he is several tiers of significance above that of Surfer and Thor combined.

However, your own personal preference being that of Surfer and Thor is acceptable as that is purely subjective.
