What a whiny brat, rage quitting because he didn't get his way and softball questions. Shapiro should also be fully open that he's clearly an "Israel First" type of American.
It was a pretty shit interview, it reminded me of old Ali G interviews except the guy asking the questions wasn't funny.
Shapiro most def did come out as very pro-Israel and very conservative in his judgement of jews as it relates to tenants of faith.

Fixed.
I haven't been very impressed with Shapiro. He sounds smart and quick-witted and authoritative, which is why he's as popular as he is, but it's hard for me to take him seriously when he's supposed to be this great rational intellectual, but he still believes in divine revelation as a practicing Orthodox Jew. I know it doesn't necessarily make all of his claims null and void, but it almost certainly greatly influences his rhetoric against homosexuality and abortion.
Oh, and his awful product ad placement on his video show is distractedly bad.. haha.
Not to mention his voice is a bit nasally and annoying.. heh.

His manner of speaking is definitely annoying.

Ngl, that entire interview is hilarious.Even some righties I talk to, who usually suckle on his toes, seem to think he was very much a fish out of water there. Guess debating rando college students in America doesn't make you a #intellectual after all.
I've seen other interviews where people called out Shapiro with much harder hitting gotcha questions. Quoting things he said.
Not sure why he was acting like that. Perhaps he was just having a bad day. Or he really really got offended that his pro-life position was characterized as barbaric.

Why do you think conservative "intellectuals" are so preoccupied with student activists?
Because they are teenagers, who have not completed their education, who have limited life experience, and are being exposed to new ideas, and are exploring new identities for the first time.
They adopt correct positions without having arrived at them through proper modes of reasoning, and are ill-equipped to articulate or defend those positions.
It is like adults dunking on children, and thinking they should be in the NBA.

It's funny how Andrew Neil manages to be both a left wing and a right wing agitator depending on who he's interviewing.
When you look at the actual facts about him other than being the BBC's main political opinion show presenter then it becomes easier to know what he is about.
He's chairman of Press Holdings owned by the Barclay Brothers. It's a right wing magazine and has had numerous high level conservative party members write and edit it in the past. He works for Rupert Murdoch. A right wing press baron. At university he ran both the conservative club and the Federation of Conservative Students. He's a climate science denier. A war hawk. A globalist. An HIV/AIDS science denier.
So yeah. A lefty he is not.

US politics: Andrew Neil and Ben Shapiro on abortion, Obama and Middle East-16 minute interview embedded in link above-
"He has more than 2 million followers on Twitter, 600,000 YouTube subscribers and his videos on the Daily Wire channel rack up millions of views.
Ben Shapiro is a controversial figure but one of the US' leading conservative political commentators. His book, The Right Side of History: How Reason and Moral Purpose Made the West Great, is a New York Times bestseller.
In a spiky Politics Live interview with Andrew Neil, Mr Shapiro refers to an incident which took place between Trump campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski and Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields in 2016.
Although a charge was brought at the time against Mr Lewandowski, Florida prosecutors dropped the case.
This is an unedited version of their interview, which was terminated by Mr Shapiro."

Holy shit, that was painful to watch. Yeah, Shapiro got very defensive and evasive. Major fail on his part.
But he's got no ammunition (so to speak) if he can't accuse those who disagree with him of just being "Leftists" or "far Left" or what-have-you. That's because he's basically just another annoying Right-wing pundit and not a particularly good thinker. That interview exposed him quite well, wow.

At 19?
To be fair, both you and I were much more educated and knowledgeable about politics than almost any of these ragey snowflake students who take those utterly retarded and ridiculous positions.
As were most people on KMC that still actively participate.
These idiots who want to eliminate borders and implement large amounts of socialism while rabidly hating Trump know little to nothing about politics or American Civics. They are no better than those street-screaming lunatics. We just see them much more often because "hooray, internets."
Also, I disagree with your "adopt correct positions." They often get their positions wrong. And the ones that seem knowledgeable about their positions are often parroting things they read on the internet but, like all superficial knowledge, can easily be dismantled when pitted against legitimate topical knowledge.
I think conservatives are not just occupied with activists, but the education system in general(especially colleges) because of the massive gap between lefties and righties in education.
Though when certain colleges are caving to the demands of snowflakes here is reason to be concerned. When they are allowed to essentially take a dean hostage with no consequence there is reason to be concerned.
Yes, some of the ridiculous things happening at college campuses is justifiable cause for concern.
But I think what Poe was getting at is that college students in general are an easier target to ridicule for conservative pundits like Shapiro. Of course college students don't always come to the right viewpoint, but sometimes they do (for example equal rights for homosexuals). They may just not have the best reasoning and justification for said position and then a conservative pundit like Shapiro (who is obviously a basket case on issues like homosexual rights because of his stupid religion) can make them sound silly.
If Poe was referring to any particular interview or video I don't know what it is.
