He's a savage jew.Joking aside I'm not terribly familiar with him. From what little I've seen though he seems more grounded and less bombastic than a lot of other politlcal commentators/youtubers and does come across as fairly articulate. Meaning he at least attempts to make cogent arguments rather than just try to be controversial/loud for the sake of attention.
His problem, which I suppose is a problem for probably all of these commentators who have to talk about things for several hours a day for money, is that he oftentimes wades into a topic he clearly has little to no actual understanding of. He recently did this with Net Neutrality and made some hilariously bad points, so bad that a tech based youtuber who actually has a deep understanding about the internet and how it works and who is usually pretty apolitical did a point by point retort of his points and it became pretty clear Shapiro just didn't know what he was talking about.

Your last paragraph, I looked up the vid, and what do you know? It's a good vid:
At around 6:40, the guy making the video makes a VERY good point because this sort of happened.
Guy in the video said, "I hope Shapiro will be honest enough to say "I was wrong" when an ISP with left wing biases decide to start shutting down right wing news outlets." How about content providers shutting down right-wing news outlets? That happened and has been happening a lot.
Bring on net neutrality, Ben. 🙂
It's like free speech: right-wingers should be allll about net neutrality if they are tired of their political views being censored down by the left. It's a no brainer.

Actually that’s a different video than the one I was referencing, but pretty similar.
That’s the one I was referencing
Ben Shapiro Issues Anti-Trans Rap Video with Canadian Wrestler
Today, Ben Shapiro joins fellow far-right extremists John Locke and Stew Peters as a failed rapper:
When asked about the endeavor, he had this to say:
"As a longtime devotee of rap, becoming a rapper was the natural next step in my career trajectory. So when Tom MacDonald asked if I wanted to collaborate on a song, I leapt at the chance. For those who don't appreciate my artistic stylings, all I can say is that they didn't appreciate Bach properly in his own time either."
This puts him squarley at odds with himself 12 years ago:
All of these conservative grifters are bitter, failed entertainers trying to stick it to Hollywood for rejecting them. They are no different than Dean Cain, Kirk Cameron, Steven Crowder, Kevin Sorbo, James Woods, et al. A bunch of ****ing losers.
