maybe the latter Mah, speaking for myself though , never was a huge fan of punk but one of my all time fav band started out as a punk rock band THE CLASH and I loved U2 upuntil after the Josuha Tree album they were very political in the older days........before they turned comercial that is

U2 were good, but someone really should have gotten in trouble for writing the lyrics "living like a mole, digging in a hole"
