It clearly tells us he is the strongest being Goku has ever faced. It also tells us he is more powerful than God Of Destructions.

This is what I've read:

Frankly, the enemy that Goku and co. is facing is the strongest. Those who trust Goku will win may lose their confidence, so be careful. They also ask: "Destructive power greater than a God of Destruction?!"

For me, nothing is asured here. It's more like "Is he or he isn't?"

Maybe you missed this part: "Frankly, the enemy that Goku and co. is facing is the strongest."

And maybe you have missed the question mark and the uncertainty between the two. It has to be seen and it''s pretty clear it's not certain on the paper and that's obvious. And it's also for the hype.

There is no "uncertainty" in that statement.

The only thing potentially uncertain is if Broly has "Destructive power greater than a God of Destruction?!"

Excatly... if that wouldn't be mentioned on the paper there wouldn't be doubt about it, but it was and therefor it's not certain and it was mentioned for a reason... so that we can guess, talk about it and for the hype.

Honestly I'm just happy the saiyans are starting to have tails again

Yea same^ They need to bring them back.

I’m really liking what I’m hearing about this movie. First of all, Beerus has regained his supremacy over MUI, and by proxy Jiren, based on the latest interview translated by Herms:

“On the usual suspects: Goku is already pretty close to being a God, and Vegeta is desperately trying to catch up. This time, Frieza shows particular growth. He wants to be on top, but he ponders how he can with Beerus and co. Around. Is his ambition to defeat the Omni-King?!”

-Tatsuya Nagamine, Director of DBS: Broly

If it wasn’t referring to MUI, then Vegeta wouldn’t be “desperately trying to catch up.” So MUI Goku is pretty close to Beerus. 🙂

Frieza’s growth will also interest me. Would be cool to see him try to become a legitimate powerhouse again.

You are the most denial person in the Anime forum. Just know that Goku, Vegeta, Jiren, Kefla, Hit, Android 17 would one shot kill Black and Zamasu, easily and Broly piss would turn him into ashes. All of this is about Goku Black and hes old news. No need to protect that current fodder of a character.

Hahahahahahahaha... 'They also ask: "Destructive power greater than a God of Destruction?!"... pretty obvious nothing confirmed and is opened for discussion... who is in denial here?

About Black.... why even bring him in this discussion... he was the best in his time and using current characters against past never works well for past characters in DB, but if Black would be alive... he would literally have MUI before ToP.

And it is pretty much confirmed that Beerus was above Goku and Jiren... wasn't I the only person in this forum who was firmly saying that?

And sorry about Vegeta being so much below Goku and that he was a fodder to the shadow of Black, Black clone, sorry man, sorry carv 😄

Nah. MUI Goku is clearly more powerful then Jiren. The issue is that Goku is simply unable to maintain the form long enough for a complete victory.

Anyway, Broly confirmed stronger then all these dudes. 🙂

Was never any doubt that Beerus > Jiren and MUI Goku. 👆

They kept tiptoeing around the issue and avoided a direct comparison throughout the entire arc. Even this "stronger than a god of destruction" BS was just peddled around to hype the fans. Which they appear to be doing once again with this Broly movie. For all we know, Beerus himself is well beyond the league of a typical god of destruction.

Goku ain't surpassing Beerus until they've got no more use for the character.

I was saying it as well and I'm gonna say it again for the Broly movie. Unless we hear a direct statement about Broly > Beerus (i.e. not this vague "stronger than a god of destruction" BS) or see Broly trash Beerus in a fight, Beerus is gonna remain the top dog after this movie.

Dark-Kenshin 👆

Jiren and Goku are above Beerus... this was confirmed and nothing is going against it.

Well, if Broly surpass the gods of destruction powers, won't strange. Wiss (in the manga) said that the gods of destruction don't really know every warriors in their own universes:

It's odd because the entire point of the ToP seemed to be that Goku and Jiren had finally transcended Hakaishin-level all together... But according to the recent interviews, that isn't the case at all -- Beerus is evidently still beyond them, and FPSSJ Broly may potentially have "more destructive power"(curious wording, imo) than Beerus.

Of course, Broly being more powerful than Jiren really shouldn't come as any sort of surprise. As I mentioned before: the threats are ALWAYS scaled-up in DB... Bringing in a weaker opponent than they had faced before would be laughably anticlimactic. /shrug

On a sidenote, I love that Beerus' power keeps getting sizable(and wholly inextricable) boosts. First it was stated that n00b SSG Goku = 70% of Beerus' maximum... Now Beerus is > MUI Goku and FP Jiren. Lol.

Thats cause Beerus is training even while we are posting...uhuh
