Spoiler:
SethTheProgrammer made a video on his thoughts regarding Jiren vs. Broly. While I thought some of it was a bit off, overall I think he has a pretty good point:
And as I said before, the manga has completely diverged from the anime, and the manga is arguably even MORE explicit than the anime in terms of Jiren versus Beerus, as when Goku goes UI Omen, Beerus says, “I can’t believe Goku attained Ultra Instinct before me,” and Jiren in the manga straight up defeats MUI Goku, unlike in the anime.
Hard to get around it at this point.
Some leaked pictures...it seems a famous Gogeta move does return despite multiple people mentioning it doesnt....so some spoilers were kinda "wrong"...

Goku obtaining UI before Beerus doesn't mean Goku(or Jiren) are Beerus-level, though. It just mean Goku learned a technique that Beerus himself has yet to perfect.By all accounts, Beerus is still the top dog.

So, if base gogeta is above ssjb Goku and Vegeta, wouldn't that make the fusing Better than potara in terms of power?
As XSUPREMEXSKILLZ already pointed out, Base Vegetto in the manga, with a single blast, damaged Merged Zamasu far more than SSB Goku and Vegeta did on their own.
Sure, Merged Zamasu didn't expect that blast to happen, yet more than half of his body was casually atomized by it.
SSB Vegetto, on the other hand, shocked Gowasu in terms of power and was already implied back then to be >= Beerus.
Furthermore, in the new movie, Goku's
Spoiler:
primary option of fusion were still the Potara earrings above the dance. Yes, this is also because they represent a faster method compared to the Metamoran approach (which, even more, Vegeta needed to be taught), but at the very least this implies that Vegetto is still equal if not more powerful than Gogeta, as Goku logically wouldn't choose him as a primary last resort anyway if he knew that fusion dance >>> Potara in terms of power output.
Being said this, I like that
Spoiler:
they wanted to make Gogeta officially canon by appearing in this movie: I always loved the character, his design and his moves. Pure badass.

Therefore Shin's claim that SSB Vegetto ~/> Beerus is dubious at best.
