Dooku is powerful enough with the Force to make it a fight and he is a saber master. He faced more established opposition too (Kenobi can actually defend himself in RotS but Dooku's force powers overwhelmed his defenses, something even Vader failed to do). Still, I think the esotheric ways in which Snoke used his powers suggests that he's at least a very accomplished and fine Force user, so he could concevably best Dooku in a full Force combat.

They’re clearly both strong willed, high ranking hit shot pilots in the Rebellion/Resistance. And both Non-Force sensitives.
So there’s literally no reason to believe Kylo’s fear required greater power.

Poe and Hera are completely different characters. It isn't the same character like Rey. Snoke showed he was undeniably superior to Kylo against Rey in every fashion. You are kind of a troll to deny this. Maul isn't anywhere near as powerful as Kylo Ren in the force. That's silly and you're comparing two different characters. I am comparing Snoke and Kylo's powers against the same character they have both used them against in Rey. Snoke is superior. It makes no sense to believe Kylo would willingly submit as a darksider to someone less powerful than himself.
Sidious: "There is a disturbance in the Force. Your assassin, she has become very powerful."
Dooku: "Yes, my lord, she is quite important to me"

Dooku: "Master..."
