I'm inclined to give AP's argument more weight considering the mere act of unveiling the Emperor's Children caused a huge turbulence in the Force described as their darkness screaming at the Jedi.

I admit that I've been out of the loop on Swtor so it would be good if Satele's actual statement was posted (or at least where its from) but from what I've found it looks like AP is being accurate.
