Before I cast my vote, I need someone to summarize reasons to vote each way.
To make it really brief -
Mace Windu:
- competed with Sidious, who in EoTPM gets a massive power boost over Plagueis (so argument also claims Plagueis can't compete against RotS Sidious to that degree).
- Evidence that he legitimately competes with Sidious without some sort of outlier performance is in statements made by Lucas and co. about how he can compete with them, being "8 pushing 9" and certain interpretations of Gilliard's work.
- Lowballing of Mace usually uses pre-prime versions.
- Described in many sources to be in same tier as Yoda.
- vaapad + superconducting loop should work especially against dark siders
Darth Plagueis:
- posing the greatest cosmic threat to the Force we've ever seen just by meditating on an island for a month via sheer willpower.
- Through that and his MM forced the Force to create the literal messiah figure of Star Wars to stop him and Palpatine.
- Thought himself above all ancient sith despite knowing their feats (and maybe not even knowing the full context behind them), because despite a lack of natural sorcery affinity he replicates their effects through sheer willpower.
- Can use midichlorian manipulation to kill and revive people, and heal himself. The interesting point here is that he says healing is much harder than killing...
- But heals himself against the full power lightning of Darth Sidious at point blank range while drunk. He only dies from suffocation. So if healing is harder than killing and he can heal from Sidious's lightning...wow.
- scales from Tenebrous who is just insanely powerful, considered his predecessors' work elementary as an apprentice, considered time manipulation elementary too.
UnuThul:
- has maybe the largest collective amp in the mythos, trillions of killiks all pooling their potential to him.
- bends entire turbolaser barrages powerful enough to destroy cruisers, a feat we've never seen before either through the Force or technologically except via artificial singularities. The ICS II and other sources describe turbolasers as lightspeed weapons with sublight tracers.
- mentally dominates scores of Jedi and almost does so to Luke.
- initially tosses around Luke before the Jedi wins in the end, but it is described as though he wins through superior skill + haxx.
Valkorion:
- Ziost - TP's an entire planet and then wipes out all its life, albeit under controversial conditions
- Powerscaling from novel Vitiate, SWTOR Vitiate
- Powerscaling above the collective dread masters by a massive margin, Revan, Soa
- Controversial but some claim he can stop time
- Splits his power across thousands of Emperor's children and is still doing the feats we see him do
- Ragdolls Outlander, Arcann and Vaylin at the same time
- Haxx like teleportation, sorcery, etc.
- much weaker versions have mentally dominated scores of Force users at once, including pre-KotOR Revan and Malak
