Well The Deep got gill raped so I guess karma is a thing. Deep got deeped.

Couldn’t of happened to a nicer guy

Plus he suffers the ultimate defeat: ends up in Ohio.

Which was silly. Why did he allow that to happen?

It was more than just harassment, Deep outright threatened to lie and claim that she attacked him (using her power burst as proof), which could mean legal to penal troubles for her; that's full blown coercion in order to get someone to f**k you, iirc, that tantamount to rape from a legal viewpoint.

Yeah its basically rape.

The harassment part would be just the pulling his pants down in front of her.

Well the fact that he allowed it means it wasnt rape I guess.

He wasnt being blackmailed or coerced. And he was obviously physically stronger than her.

It was a weird scene. He seemed obviously uncomfortable.

The success of this show makes me wish Preacher had been produced on Amazon.

Interesting, what did it remind you of?

Out of the gate, it hits you with millennial hipster changes:

Spoiler:
From big hearted, plain, simple Irishman, to tech geek/nerd. I really hate how Hollywood's gone to the geeks.

To be honest, the first episode was pretty close to the comics roots. Not a 1 for 1, and definitely had changes designed to be more relatable to a certain audience, but overall not a bad experience.

And The Deep is totally a Harvey Weinstein. I wouldn't be surprised if this exact scenerio played out when she auditioned for the part, as it did for many aspiring starlets, and they incorporated it into the movie.
