When he removed the gem in his fight with she Hulk (same story champ fought gladiator) he got worked pretty badly. But he is as skilled as how the writer sees fit for a particular issue. In the original contest of champions saw more of his strength and skill

Yea, they skip away for a while after that page and come back to the one below.
He does the same to BRB, Surfer, Dumb Drax and She-Hulk in their first fight.

1. He leaped up to gain enormous momentum (which proves that he wasn’t strong enough to achieve the feat from a standstill)
2. He hit the planet and caused an instability. This instability caused a chain reaction that led to the planet blowing up. So basically, he was strong enough to push the button of a machine. The machine did most of the work though. Good feat but not even close to destroying a planet with a punch and without any help.

SMH. The power gem increases ALL stats. Supermans speed would be NOTHING to Champion. Superman gets Koed I in the first round VERY quick.

I'm actually undecided here, because Gladiator has speed as well, but the Champion was busting him up. On the other hand the Champion has nearly become as big of a jobber as the Rhino. Plus Drax with the Power Gem is a really bad example, he wasn't capable of using the Gem on more than a subconscious level due to his infant like intellect.

Based on what? Because of his run in with Thanos when Thanos played him out? He did instruct Titania in the uses of the Power gem, so if you are an instructor, that means that you kind of know the subject matter no?

In happened in the previous She Hulk run, which was just after She Hulk worked the Champion and she came back so strong that Reed Richards had to give her a Jupiter suit in order for her not to accidentally break shit due to her increased strength level.
She had the strength to easily beat Herc in an arm wrestling match to the point that she didn't even feel him pushing. Titania with the PG was swatting her around like a mouse even at that strength level.
I don't have the scans on hand, perhaps they're on Google, but trust me he instructed her on the use of the PG.
