That excerpt is referencing Palpatine's death(and subsequent resurrection) in RotJ. Since you're evidently unfamiliar with this source, I included a larger portion of preceding text with the excerpt this time for context:

Again: Palpatine survived his death in RotJ solely through the use of his *own* power/will. The DE Handbook confirms this. The Complete Encyclopedia confirms this. Chee confirms this.

Whelp, you proved they are connected. Concession accepted. But in this 'retcon', he wasn't sent into Chaos anymore. Thus, the Chaos feat never happened. I still don't know why people make a beef deal out of this. Sadow went into Chaos when his vessel was destroyed and returned to Yavin 4 afterwards.

Since other people jumped at this "debunking," I might as well offer my two cents as well, to put this age-old thing to rest:

When Palpatine says "your spirits guided me back to life when I was destroyed by Vader..." at face value one could take that as the ancient Sith resurrecting the Emperor, but Gamer #5 offers more clarification: using the knowledge gained from the spirits did he resurrect himself. So in other words, the spirits guided him back to life by teaching him how to defy death. As mentioned before, the way Sheev words his statement certainly suggests a more hands-on approach by the ancients, but taking that interpretation over its actual meaning in the face of overwhelming evidence favoring the latter (Handbook 3: Dark Empire, Dark Empire Sourcebook, Gamer #5 etc.) proves you're worth pretty much nobody's time. 👆

Are you really that idiot? That source of yours just states that he used Transference when he died at the Battle of Endor. It has nothing to do with his statement in the last issue of Dark Empire. Stop mixing them up to win your case. The Force doesn't work that way.
That source of yours just states he merely used Transference when his physical body ceased to function. That's all.

Not only that his Chaos feat is not impressive anymore, but it never happened due to that 'retcon'. But Sadow's Chaos feat happened, still. Even if you still want to believe that nonsense; that means those Sith Lords also possessed the knowledge and power to escape Chaos.

Oh, my, how Palpatine's 'cosmic' feat is rendered moot by one of his most loyal servants. 🙂 😂

Nicely done, Azronger. You just showed how superior the ancient Sith are in comparison to Palpatine. Palpatine even came to them to ask for a cure regarding his plagued body.
Fact-wise, Palpatine isn't the most knowledgeable Sith Lord. There are only accolades: and most don't stand up to their claims.
