not on his exact level, but it's implied that he can absorb kinetic energy.

I remember a car/truck hitting him and he just absorbed the energy. It doesn't seem like he does it all the time, though.

He seems very inconsistent in that, at least to me...

Strong Guy is much more similar to Shaw.

Bishop is like Maverick.

I know.

My point is what they do with the energy they've absorbed. Bishop and Maverick = hand blasts, Strong Guy and Shaw = amping further their strength.

And that's the way it always should be written, otherwise their powersets become too similar...

I guess you're right, but Bishop can also manipulate the energy of other people.

i think if we dog deep into bishop's feats he'll have ways to beat bats. in a featureless environment and given the starting distance bats would also be in trouble. bishop CAN be overloaded, but depending what feats you go by, his limit can be quite high. in a standard city environment i like bats for a very solid majority. bats can also take him out with simple nerve strikes which wouldn't give bishop a chance to absorb the kinetic energy--though as stilt says that does seem to be inconsistently shown--or was. not sure how he's been portrayed more currently. /shrug

Maverick is low key one of my favorite characters. I used to know alot about him. Liked him as Agent Zero too.

that same sort of logic can be applied to the flash. In comics, he's definitely going to operate under the level of where he should be. In a forum setting though, he's going to be drawing from powers that are regularly forgotten about.

yeah gas would be a tough counter for bishop. not sure ko gas is something he typically goes for, but even if he can go ninja in smoke it would be tough for bishop. i wonder if bishop has ever absorbed sound before? ala dazzler... multiversal level whistle turned back on him would take down even bats. 👆

actually, yes. He absorbed the kinetic energy that his body built up when wolverine kicked him out of a skyscraper and converted it to light and sound.
