Islam isn't a race, this is true. But as DDM eloquently pointed out before, to some racist they conflate "Muslims" with brown Arab peoples, so when they're shitting on Muslims, it's both on the religion and the "race" they associate it with.

Little different with "I'm Jewish" when Jewish isn't really a race anymore, it's just a religion, as there's Jews from all racial pools of life. Even though Jews do this themselves.

I don't even think "Medicare for all" can have an honest discussion, because of how broken western medicine is.

Profit motive is one thing. Taking insulin and jacking up prices thousands of percent, forcing people to pay or die, is not capitalism. It's as legitimate in my eyes, as war profiteering.

That, and our hospitals are playing a game with insurance companies where they have "master lists" of inflated prices, which began because insurance companies grumbled individuals were getting better discounts then them. Naturally, the answer is to screw over the individual with jacked up prices, and give deep "discounts" (A discount of an insanely inflated price is a slightly less insanely inflated price) to insurances.

And conservatives and businessmen say "We can't afford Medicare for all". Not if you want your company to be in the billionaires club, you can't. People die all the time, I want to be in the 1% of the 1%.
