The claim is his manager was on the phone with him too. So you're a manager and you hear your client getting his ass beat and called racial slurs and you don't immediately call the cops?Anyways, I wouldn't use that reason as the only reason to be suspicious, there are more. This video covers it pretty well:
Police Source: "MAGA Country" Incident "Looking Like A Hoax"
I will note the person who claimed the thing about the hoax deleted the tweet without explaining why. That is noted at the very beginning of the video. I only point this out because the title of the video makes it seem like it's all about that when it's not.
I followed up on this.
He refused to turn over his phone or work with providing his phone records to police. Quite key since one of the primary elements is his manager hearing the attackers state "MAGA country." You'd think that if you wanted to prove this, you'd provide your phone and give your cell service provider permission to work with the police.
Unless there's something else going on that would get him into trouble? Drugs? That's it's clearly a lie?

What do you think he reason could have been?
I'm not commenting on this case, though. The "MAGA Country" thing could be a lie, tbh. I think we should focus more on the dude with the MAGA hat who supposedly wanted to shoot a Drag Queen for reading to some children.

Yeah it's all too fishy for me.

I remember when some random cvnt off the street started harrassing my friend, then got physical and tried to assault her. After I fought him off, and threatened to call the police he fled, but it took a good 30-something minutes for me to call the cops because my friend was vomitting from the stress and couldn't even stand straight.
My first priority was to calm her down and see if she's OK, then escort her somewhere safe and then call the police.I'm not commenting on this case, though. This example is not a valid one given the context of the situation. You were there in person to witness this and calm your friend down.
This manager was on the phone, not there in person, and heard his client getting beat down and called racial slurs and didn't call the cops? Why? There are instances on video, after the supposed assault, where we see the guy and he isn't on the phone, so you can't even say the manager just stayed on the phone with him the entire time to keep him calm.
And then neither the manager nor the client wanna show the cops their phones.

One of the tweeters got fired from his job. Not sure if that's better or worse than a twitter ban.
