The Conservative Party changed in the late 70's, The NHS was something old Conservatives and all other parties saw as sacrosanct.

iirc, The Walton's (on behalf of Walmart) have donated more to Conservatives and Conservative causes. I'd also assume they're happy with Trump's Tax plan as it profits the wealthiest people the most.

Jeff Bezos, not sure, I think he personally finds Trump to be a poor businessman and clownish moron of the highest order, but I suspect Bezos is also very happy with Trump's Tax plan, being a worth over 110billion.

With these things, I think the last 5 years is where you should take it. Unless there is an explicit reason to go back further (such as a huge tax break that Walmart pushed through in 1978 <- Made up to provide an example).

Did a really quick scan in those six cycles, Walmart heavily favors Republicans in $$$ donated, Amazon favors Democrats, but not by a huge amount.

Most Big Corporations lean Left.
