Alan Scott did not take on Kal L. Kal wrecked him in two hits.

Sinestro and Larfleeze stated that they wanted to kill Superman, not that they were capable of the same.

Hal would've just created white light with Sinestro and Larfleeze, it got nothing to do with power.

It was just to show how powerful BL were.

This argument is literally pointless. How does the power of a BL even matter, if Thanos can control them with the soul gem?

Which he can, as long as the BL is still alive/not a resurrected corpse.

It's not a corpse though.

It's a construct by the BL ring, given memories and designedto elicit the maximum emotional response from it's targets.

Hence the Flying Graysons etc. But they are NOT the actual Graysons. Just constructs.

1. That doesn't matter to the argument at hand.

2. They are still made from the corpses of the BLR wielders.

thanos would release the still alive 'black lanterns. I forget who all came back but the team that wasn't really dead dead was pretty strong iirc. I'd go with thanos

Doubtful. The Graysons have been dead for decades. They were just buried in common graves....There's no way their corpses are still that intact.

Moreover, we see BLs rebuilding their bodies after getting shot off etc.
