Halloween (2018)

It’s a sequel to the first film, JLC returns as Laurie Strode and John Carpenter is also attached. Ones out Oct 19th. Guess this makes every other sequel non canon? We had H20 so this would be H40.

Will add this one to My Already Big Pile of...

likely will pass unless the trailer is awesome

It must take place after part 2 also, it takes place on the same night, picking up immediately after the first movie finishes.

You know I this ignores part 2 as well, which sucks cuz whilst part 2 wasn’t as good it tied nicely to the first film and ended the story well...until part 4 came along

The 1st Halloween is a great movie which is why I want this to be a great sequel.

If it is it can be added to Aliens, Terminator 2 Judgement Day, John Wick Chapter 2, etc.

Cool. I can't wait until it comes out.

Waiting for the trailer to drop for this movie

there's have been some teaser's that have been released, With one of them it shows Laurie strode practicing her shooting getting some headshot's on a dummy but i'm sure when the time comes she'll fudge it up.

FYI, this new Halloween film is a direct sequel to the first Halloween from 40 years ago in 1978, therefor eliminating every sequel that was made from the continuity.

I think it has potential, personally.

Rob Zombie’s first Halloween wasn’t that bad, I have to admit. The second film, however, was a fecal glazed abortion.

Half of Rob's Halloween "Wasn't That Bad" but that Other Half GAWD PHUCKING AWFUL!

Ohh I wanted to murder that annoying little shit that portrayed young "Michael"

As I was watching the trailer I thought so this means they aren't related anymore, as that was in the sequel not the original, and they bring it up in the trailer. So glad Laurie Strode is back (JLC), killing her off was an awful idea, hated that. I'm looking forward to this.

Halloween: Resurrection was leagues beyond terrible. God, what a shit film that was.

Busta Rhymes defeated Michael Myers facepalm

Laurie looks tormented and even Michaels mask has an aged and westherand s look to it. Even just with a few snippets this looks miles better than any of Rob zombies remakes or anything after Halloween 3. I can’t wait to see this

looks okay.. i have low expectations given that the original halloween and halloween are good films.. rob zombies films are utter dogshit

Trailer was surprisingly good. I liked how Laurie is basically turning into Loomis with her paranoia and borderline insane hatred/fear of Michael.

yea but she'll ,iss when she tries to shoot him

Looks good

good to see John Carpenter involved with it in some capacity, For the previous movies only one that i haven't seen is 'Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers' i'll probably track down the director's cut as i hear that's the better version of it.

Yeah. The Producers Cut is better then the Theatrical Cut. Not by much but it is slightly better.

I'm excited. Being a child the 80s. I enjoy the slasher films. Also that theme song still one of the best in any movie.
