She was a past version of herself, the one from beginning of GotG 1.

I bet Natasha was brought back. Hulk did say he tried to bring her back. Plus Black Widow has a movie out next year. Of course that could always be a prequel.

I guess that doesnt make sense to me and I still dont understand. Why bother bringing back a past version of Gamora? To turn Nebula? Strange might have known, but how would Stark? Just seems weird to me.

Gamora and Nebula were Thanos' sidekicks at the time, so naturally they followed him and his army. All past versions. All from GotG 1 start.

We don't know if she's gone AWOL or vanished along with everyone else when Tony did the snap. We need to wait for GotG 3 to know for certain.

Star Lord wanking to her hologram can mean anything.

Stark witnessed Quill going crazy about her dying at Thanos' hands in IW, so it's *possible* he spared her when doing the snap. Just saying.

Would be a nice change, as pretty much no death has stuck so far except Quicksilver. We already know Vision is coming back. With the multiverse now, & time travel, any character can come back quite easily - see Gamora and Loki.
