Dr. Manhattan vs Thanos

Manhattan shows up at the final scene in Wakanda after Thanos completes the Infinity Gauntlet.

Both stare at one another in curiosity.

Can Thanos kill Manhattan before Manhattan explodes Thanos?

We have seen Thanos react much faster in the duress of conflict than Manhattan. Thanos has faced greater coordinated attacks from more powerful foes than Manhattan. Manhattan was very slow and let his opponents attack. He wasn’t some speedster. Thanos on the other hand fought off a highly coordinated attack from a battle tested team.

Thanos can end him very quickly and would do so. I also don’t believe Manhattan has the power to blow Thanos up at all. Thanos wins this whenever he wants.

If Stormbreaker can inflict a grievous wound to Thanos' torso, then he can be exploded.

Pretty sure that Manhattan could also disintegrate Mjolnir and Stormbreaker since they're just atoms, and that's what Manhattan has absolute control over. Hell, even the gauntlet that Thanos used to harness the power of the stones could be vaporized.

Actually a good point. Just turn the gauntlet into bubbles and the stones fall to the floor. Manhattan knowing his past/present/future at all times (barring tachyon disruption) would know this already.

Iyo but the point is we don’t see Manhattan show that level of power due to his weaker universe.

Thanos can also alter reality to his whims with just one stone. He can turn Manhattan into blocks, etc. Thanos also has the power over time which Manhattan can’t alter by any means. Thanos is used to bring quick on the draw and logically Manhattan isn’t since he doesn’t fear anyone or anything else in his own universe.
