Some very good news for #Joker fans, spoke with multiple @TheAcademy voters last night, *all of them had it in their top films, one longtime member listed #JokerMovie as his #1 overall film, seeing it some 8X, telling me "if Joaquin doesn't win best actor, it'll be criminal"

This could be Phoenix year

I watched this and am quite impressed with how disturbed and dark it turned out. I mean it approaches 'work of art' status, which is not something you expect from a comic book film. Joaquin Phoenix did deliver a stunning performance. Even compared to Heath Ledger's performance he turned the creepy and disturbed up to 11.

Dont like the idea that it might not be the real Joker. That kinda just feels like a way to just use the name to get us into theatres if they go that route.

Well there was a definite Bruce Wayne connection in the film.

Yeah but apparently the director said that the Phoenix Joker even In Universe might not be the actual Batman nemesis.

Oh yeah, Jared Leto is the real Joker.

😂

Joker won 2 golden globes. Congrats Phoenix for Best actor.

Marvel fanboys are rushing to downplay.

RDJ should have won according to them.

What Golden Globes?

Yes the Golden Globes.

Think actors are more bothered about Oscars.

Joaquin Phoenix was garbage compared to Jared Leto. Face the facts, folks.

Yawn. Wake me up when its nominated for Oscars.

He'll be nominated easily and more than likely win. Whoever wins the Globe, generally wins the oscar.

Loved it still on second viewing
Also the soundtrack is killer
