DC and their cheap films

Wasn't Quan poking fun a DC for making cheap films?

Where has that clown been I wonder? His mom probably grounded him.

Still no plans for a sequel, But the director is open to it the last i read.

Phoenix also said if Todd Phillips is directing again and if he liked the script he'd be willing to do a sequel apparently.

Keep it Elseworlds or GTFO.

Making a sequel won't necessarily mean changing its status as Elsewords.

Also, yeah, DCEU is cancer; staying away from it is a smart move.

Phoenix replacing/retconning Leto Joker I would be down for too, but am cool with either scenario.

#Joker remains in Top 10 for a 7th wknd with $5.6M dropping 39% putting domestic #boxoffice cume at $322.6M making it #70 on the all-time list (#6 among R-rated films). It's now the 44th film to break $1B global, but the first ever to be R-rated.

The haters are cutting themselves.

Saw it last week, I thought it was awful. Not the artsy psychological drama that people were touting. A very safe, conventional comic book movie. Phoenix does his best with a very limited script, but it's nothing complex or interesting as the role suggested. The moment the film lost all credibility is when he went to Arkham and found out that the events were literal, and they even put in a lame explanation of his love acquaintance, as if the audience is so dumb, they need to be told what they already knew. Overall, an unimpressive piece of work.

This film broke a billion on 60-70million dollar budget, this will absolutely get a sequel. The studio will do whatever it takes.

^ Yup. Apparently as profitable as Infinity War. At this point Theyd be crazy Not to do a sequel.

That all depends on if Phoenix wants to. I doubt he would.

Phoenix is in a really good position to make some bank, since he really IS the sequel. It's not like they can just replace him with someone else, any more then they could Robert Downy Jr. as Iron Man.

Who himself, was paid far more then his peers, likely for that reason.

Phoenix got 4.5mil for the Joker. His agent is going to ask for a lot more and likely a small percentage of the profits for the sequel and he will get it, as you said, they can't just recast him here

Well the sequel's been confirmed.

No it hasn't. There have been conflicting reports.

Well the stuff from 10 hours ago saying it was... but then the news from 6 hours saying it's not.

Yeah, it was just clickbait. Came across it earlier.
