Because im still a mega Star Wars fan?
Was always going to watch it once regardless. But from fans like me they should really be getting repeat viewings, which is unlikely to happen if this one sucks as well.
I also have my expectations in check. Not expecting this to make any kind of sense or to be congruent with Lucas vision. Will just be happy if its an entertaining flick.

So am I. I still play SWTOR of all things. And that's exactly why I'm not wasting money on this trash. They spit all over my childhood. TFA ruined Han Solo. TLJ destroyed Luke Skywalker's character. Now they're bringing back the Emperor, which means Vader's redemption and his sacrifice were pointless. That's the last straw for me.
It's your money and you should do what you want with it, but personally, I'm boycotting every Disney-made Star Wars product at this point.
