The newer trilogy has had its flaws but I’ve loved it for the most part. It’s impossible to be worse than AOTC or TPM anyway

Surely if you're envisioning a trilogy from the start you actually have the bare bones for the entire thing. Apparently not. Just make it up as you go along dependent on people's complaints.

It's working so well for the Alien franchise too.

They've pretty much confirmed this. The idea was to just give each movie to a different filmmaker and just kind of let them do what they wanted while still being more or less connected, they didn't really have any overarching ideas. Very strange decision from them, but whatever.

By that laugh at the end of the teaser we all can agree with Quan: Snoke was the strongest force user that ever lived

Rumors are that Rey’s past will be retconned to fix her lineage.

Is she truly a Skywalker now?

On the one hand that sounds really shity and I hate it, on the other hand I feel like it's a lot more likely that she'll end up being a Skywalker then the title being about Ben.

Is that a piece of the Death Star at the end? And Palpatine’s laugh?

Are getting a Palpy clone like from the EU books?

I would say hes in hologram form from a holocron recording or something, but that would be a little too deceptive the way theyve teased it.

What was the TIE fighters plan in that trailer?

thats entirely possible, but you don't really have to retcon anything..

one of my many working theories as of right now is that Luke somehow took that memory away from Rey and Snoke suspected Rey is a Skywalker, but duped Ben into thinking otherwise..

well we never saw any jedi or sith make a lightsaber...

Well I have to admit it's a good trailer, but the title is stupid and I have no faith in JJ Abrams, plus it's clear they're just making it up as they go.

But it was spliced together well. A very competent trailer.

But one can tell it doesn't necessarily mean it's going to be a competent 2-hour movie.
