Nah you're butthurt that people are not praising crap like you are just for the sake of being a corporate whore.

Be honest, you are going to watch Ep 9 on opening weekend just so you can come here and complain about it. 😘

Yeah just like I bitched about Rogue One and Solo and Rebels first season.. Oh wait I didn't.

Stop being a Disney whore and accept there's massive loads of people who've not liked the new movies you insecure fanboy.

And what a ****ing daft comparison, TFA was the only film to ever breach $2B alongside Avatar and The Titanic, it was the first Star Wars film in a decade, everyone and their mother went to see that movie. It was an event. Of course TLJ didn't compare. Only Infinity War has since. Lmfao.

Oh yeah completely daft comparison comparing a sequel's performance to it's predecessor 😬

What a butthurt excuse. You probably didn't even know what a massive drop off it had, and just came in here using box office as your defence but not actually having a clue what you're talking about.

Lets see now... Avengers was only the 3rd movie ever to hit 1.5 billion when it came out. It was also a big event, being the first time multiple franchises had been put together in such a big way like that. Did that mean its sequel was guaranteed to have a whopping 35% drop off. Nope. It only went down by 100mill, and the 3rd film MASSIVELY Surpassed it.

Infinity War was the 4th film to make $2billion. 10 years in the making. You expecting End Game to also drop 700MILLION?

You're just full of silly excuses.

TLJ also still ranks well above the prequels save TPM when adjusted for inflation, and yes, TPM was a huge financial success, despite butthurt fans.

It had the worst box office multiplier of ALL the previous Star Wars films.

Oh so TPM was Universally loved as well now 😆

Im a massive fan of the prequels, but I'm not gonna sit here and just be delusional using box office as some kind of denial tool.

But sure, one of Disney's most profitable films of the decade was a misfire and they are now desperate, based of a 2-minute teaser.

Yeah because the Star Wars brand name isn't worth anything. They just paid $4billion for that as charity for George.

You are truly idiotic.

No, based off TLJ's Massive drop off, based off Solo flopping, based off the hate towards the new films, especially TLJ. Based on Disney completely changing direction based on all this, because Disney execs are not blind corporate fanboys like you.

At least I'm not a corporate whore.

None of the characters in Rogue One were remotely likeable. They were all practically the same. Miserable, jaded and boring with the sole exception of the robot. At least TFA and TLJ had Han, Poe and even Finn with a bit of charisma. It's only redeeming part was Vader's massacre at the end.
Han was ****ing awful and Finn was borderline insulting, Poe is the only one of that trio somewhat likable (and in TLJ he is character assassinated and becomes extremely unlikable, thanks Rian). Pretty much everyone in the R1 crew beyond the two leads were likable at best and forgettable at worse. None of them had enough material to be unlikable.

I liked Donnie Yen too; he was all right. Just, as with everyone else, underdeveloped.

Nah.

I honestly couldn't tell you if I liked rogue one, or I liked rogue one's Darth Vader scene

But he is right. Bringing back Sheev is an obvious and desperate attempt to appeal to the fans while trying to salvage the mess left behind by Rian. TFA was clearly trying to build up Snoke as the big bad, but Rian ****ed that up when he killed him off. With Snoke dead, there was no character left who could act as the final boss. Kylo isn't a threat, he's already has his ass kicked twice and Rian turned Hux into a spaceballs character. So Lucasfilm brought back Sidious to act as the final villain.

What if Sheev only appears in a flashback, as an illusion or something?

Yeah, the final like half hour or so saves the movie. That scene was epic.

The first half of the movie is honestly pretty garbage.

I enjoyed the space battle, Vader and the robot

It's not smart though. They already took a dump on the OT by making Luke a failure. Now they're going to ruin Vader's sacrifice and the prophecy too. These people have absolutely no respect for Star Wars or its fanbase, which is why I skipped TLJ and Solo in theaters and it looks like I'll skip IX too.

Well we don't know if Palaptine is alive, Could very well be just a force ghost.

I thought Sith didn't get force ghosts...which would add to why Darth Plagueis/Sidious made such a big deal trying to cheat death.

Also having Palpatine again kind of invalidates Snoke's existence even more so than TLJ

They aren’t supposed to, at least not the way Jedi do. In the old EU, the Sith figured out a different way to return as spirits perhaps Sheev learned how to do so in the Disney canon as well.

Marka Ragnos comes to mind from Legends.

Are we seeing the second death star in the trailer?
