You’re pretty rare in your dislike of Jyn. You are the second person I spoke too that felt this way.

It's just that there's so little to her. It's not the actresses fault, mind you. She worked with what she was given. I just think they gave her sweet ****-all, and she ended up being incredibly uninteresting.

That said, she's not the only one. Outside of Donnie Yen and the droid, that whole rebel group was kinda meh, imo. Cassian being a "ends justify the means" kinda guy was interesting, but they did so little with it, it ended up being pointless. Imo anyway.

Isn't Bing your wife? You should beat her everyday

Not legally, no. So it's not as easy to get away with.

Yeah I would ignore him. This is the same guy who decided to b**** about the prequels a decade later only when the sequels were being made. And even then he claimed Force Awakens was going to be better than Empire Strikes Back.

So Would completely ignore him no matter which side hes on right now.

Now Mark Hamill on the other hand is a guy always worth listening to. And he did his best to try and warn fans about TLJ without being too much of a d*** to the guys giving him his pay check.

Mark Hammill is a ****ing treasure. Honestly.

He’s still got a limp from that time I pushed him down the stairs. No one can burn a TV dinner and take a punch like he can.

I'd be happy if she fell in one

I see surt is still pretend-winning with help from his fellow radicalized incels. All this to avoid his confession that he trusts RT. oh lordy

Marching orders is why.

eg Captain Marvel, these same types shit on the actress and the film without seeing it because others told them to. Then it turns out Larson didn't say what was claimed and the film was actually decent in writing/story.

Anyhow, about 6 weeks now, I still can't wait. The previews for this look really good, even though that's happened before.

You need to troll better. Lying and saying I trust RT is pretty weak 👆

Nope, but you tried 👆

That was the good thing about Lucas. He was basically the biggest independent film maker in the world. So you could say f*** off to him, without worrying your career is over now.

And think what you will of the prequels, George did listen to criticisms, hence very little to no Jar Jar in Episodes 2 & 3, and the love dialogue minimised in Episode 3.

One thing the prequels do have going for them, even above the sequels, is that the actual main plots are consistently laid out. They move from A to B to C believably enough, because Lucas had most of it planned out in his head. It also helped that he was a literal gatekeeper of the lore. There was nobody ****ing around with the force or the empire or anything like that.

It was always the minutiae that tripped him up. The parts in between.

This is likely because the majority of films (99.99%) fall into a variation of just a few (some say seven) basic plots. Or so it's said.

So when the back of your mind is thinking "Wait, I've seen this shit before!", it's because you have. Over and over and over...

Yep. And I've even read that directors have turned up for Disney meetings, only to be told "so, we've storyboarded out this action scene, and you need to make sure it's in the movie". Who knows what else is planned out at this point.

Though I will say, when an exceptionally good MCU movie does come out, that it says a lot about the people making it, whether it be the director, producer, the writers or the actors.

Lucas got too much shit. Sure, the prequels had a lot of problems, but they introduced a whole bunch of things that became iconic for Star Wars. Even the bad stuff became memes. Nothing Disney has done with the ST has been remotely memorable. Lucas really was the soul of Star Wars.

Lucas has almost always been a great ideas man. He comes up with memorable locations, characters and even plots. I would agree that Disney hasn't done the same.

that's not what I asked, though.

as someone registered in 2008 when the SW prequel forum was still one of the beating hearts of this kmc, you were completely absent from it. Maybe you're just a classic trilogy fan and never liked the prequels? If so, we're ironically kindred spirits in that regard; but I digress...

assuming you are my type of SW fan (high-five, if so), why have you never voiced your opinions there?

Probably because the SW forums are a total cesspit.

the PT/ST forum would have to be active to be a cesspit. you're thinking of the EU and vs forums, bruh

And folk here sure run their mouths about it like it was awful. So if it's not a cesspit some people got some 'splaining to do.

Back in the ST/PT days, not really. KMC's "SW kids" were still in grade school back then.

At the end of the day though, "you didn't engage with me in the SW's forum" is still an argument a moron tries to use to try to say a person isn't a real fan. That's not up for debate.

you already admitted that you didn't like eps 1 and 2, yet you never cared to voice it anywhere. you didn't even care a little bit, but now you care super-hard. it's obvious that you're deep into political radicalization and you're pushing the anti-woke incel agenda. get a job, son. first you get the money. when you get the money you get the power. when you get the power, then you get the women 👆

^I love this post, who wants to embarrass themselves by agreeing? Looking forward to who goes first.
