Saw it. It wasn't good, but not dumpster fire tier as far as a competently made movie.
Overall the NT story arc, plot , decisions, most of the characters, were not good and could have been done plenty of other ways and it would have turned out better than what we got.
Hope we don't expand on this trilogy's arc too much and see very little of these characters going forward and they get new people in charge of these movies.

My biggest pet peave with the movie was

Spoiler:
when all the dead jedi were giving rey a pep talk, anakin says "you must bring balance to the force, like I did." Excuse me anakin, but what did you do? The galaxy is still under heavy oppression and damaged by war, the sixth are still around in droves, apparently, and the emperor is still popping planets like pimples. You can't call back to previous heroics in the same movie you invalidate every last one of them

But on the positive side

You gotta also appreciate how JJ turned the Force from some mystical energy field into nothing more than super powers. It's even better when you consider how JJ seems to believe that the Prequels demysticize the Force because of midi-chlorians. Never mind the fact that the Prequals also introduce incredibly mythical concepts such as prophecy and an immaculate conception.
