Sure, but you can’t really gain much from taking seriously what are obviously troll arguments. Their hidden “real” arguments might also be idiotic but I’m not sure how this does anything but make you look triggered.
It seems like they justify their trolling by assuring themselves that their real arguments are too good to defeat and they’ll just troll for fun, and so they’ll never have to actually put them under scrutiny. It’s a defense mechanism but your “take the bait” tactic isn’t breaking it.
