He was doxing by finding personal, private information about edmb and threatening to share it with someone in hopes that this other person would take part in helping to humiliate/embarrass him by utilizing said information. Instead, this person let the mods know what was going on.

Unfortunately he would probably just share this info when it his ban ends. Yet a permanent ban....there are ways around even an IP ban.

Actually wait it was said before that the forum is broke and nobody new can register. So it indeed would stop him.

Yeah, bottom line if he wants this information out then he will be able to share it, not much we can do about it on our end other than banning him.

Well hopefully word gets around the forum, then, that people who want to stay should avoid trolling too heavily. Before with how easy it was to just make a new account, and with how the mods generally didn't care, a permanent ban was little more than an inconvenience. Now, it's back to actually being meaningful, all because our admin neglected the site for so long that it broke. Ironic.
