Maybe Colossus? More?Depends on if the "force field" theory applies, as the Canadian should probably have more issues piercing energy shields over physical objects. That's why he can tank molecular disintegration and such... (Who's that character with a force field, from the X-men cartoon? The one Logan repeatedly slash's at, to no effect? Some other Canadian, maybe?)
Only certain types of forcefields do well against the claws. Others do not:
Another example - Human Robot's ff took attacks from Cyclops, Storm and Colossus, but got one-shotted by Wolverine.
Anyway, you're probably thinking of Weapon Alpha/Vindicator/Guardian from the Alpha Flight. In the cartoon, Logan does mention - and proves - that his ff can't protect him forever.

It was a lie by Zeus, in the same issue he said that he is not Terran (which means Earth based) Zeus aka Olympic Zeus, yet in the last issue he says that he reclaimed his Terran province thanks to Freddy, thus if Earth is his terran province then he is the Olympic Zeus, since there is only 1 Zeus that is Terran based, simple logical conclusion. Not only that various sources like DC Encylopedia show that gods like Hercules in Shazam is the same Hercules from Wonder Woman lore, even stating there that he simple changed his shape to help Freddy.
Add to that the fact that we also have seen avatars of their previous selfs showcasing their true forms like Achiless and Solomon. Basically there is enough information to claim that whole 250.000 Gods parts was BS.
Superman never beat Cap Marvel in easy manner, they are factual equals and are always portrayed as such in every single fight they had more or less, let's not pretend that this notion doesn't exist, except Cap is way faster featwise, plus - minus has some statements of Cap being stronger one, but other than that, they are equals in strength/durability, as well as Cap having magic lightning and spells to shoot at him.
And that's regular Captain Marvel, in this thread we are talking about Darkseid War Captain Marvel, the far more powerful version of Cap, the same one that punked amped Yuga Khan, people should know who this guy is, he is Darkseid's father, and essentially treated Darkseid and other New Gods like fodder, destroys planets by merely standing on them, so we are talking about way high power-levels here, and yet he got beaten by Billy.
Not only that if you look at Billy's new pantheon, we would see familiar powers, like Strength of S'ivaa, you know the guy that was punking Superman/Orion at the same time, and was completely immune to all of their attacks, he was defeated by BFR, basically he got teleported away (into the Source).
Then of course there is also M for Mamaragan aka Wizard Shazam, who is stated by Pandora to be more powerful than The Spectre - https://static.comicvine.com/uploads/original/0/40/2223474-p3.jpg
Superman is powerful, but he is facing a character who has combined powers of people who would treat Superman like fodder, it would be foolish to ignore all those details.
Right, personal opinions are not facts. But overall Cap would fair the same as Superman if we are talking about pure strength/durability part.
And it will end just as another stalemate, as usual.
The Post Crisis Captain Marvel hasnt been presented as Superman's physical equal since before OWAW. Stop lying.

Cap was always portrayed as Superman's equal from the very moment he was acquired by DC, most of their fights showcase that as well, also OWAW happend in 2001, while Cap Marvel stalemated Eclipso amped Superman (with Eclipso stating that Cap is stronger one) in Superman V2 #216 which happened in 2005, this notion alone debunks your presented denotation.

Imo the fact that he cuts them easily is a knock on their durability. Or is it?Pushing a very durable hypodermic needle into something with 500lbs of force (Wolverine has the ability to push at this strength) gives a pressure of about 62,000 tons per square inch.
But as the needle goes deeper the cross sectional area increases and the pressure decreases (as would Wolverine claws).
On average, If someone punched either character with 62,000 tons of force then they should bleed (break the skin). But a fist has a much larger area than a square inch.
Which reinforces the fact that Wolverine is by far the hardest striker in his weight class. If you gave him Namor level strength, he'd be ridiculous (Weapon H may prove this). Neither Thanos, or Gladiator lacks durability if you're alluding to this. There have been too many occasions or showings of them resisting crazy amounts of damage.

^^^i wonder how he rates that high, in his realm. Do Mephisto and Hela get that sort of boost?
It could be because he is very powerful outside his realm in the first place,he is one of the big three in Olympus alongside Zeus and Poseidon after all . He beat hela quite easily too when he wanted to claim the soul of Odin in a Thor issue, she, Thor and Asgard tried to stop him even with help from the fates, they couldn't, they had to resurrect Odin.
If I were to guess,I'd say they all get the same multiplier boost in their realms, with the difference being how powerful they are normally
If I have a PL of 200 and you have one of 300,if we both get a boost of 10*, your PL will be higher still.
