I wanted Elba before he (it seems) aged out of the role. Back when Craig was considering quitting around Spectre's release.

With Villanueve at the helm, I think it'll be solid even with an unconventional pick.

^ Yes anyone who’s seen Man From Uncle knows how perfect Henry Caville would be as Bond.

Unfortunately he will be seen as too old to start now.

Caville's aging fairly well, not Brad Pitt well, but still. They could still pick him, especially if they consistently waited only 2-3 years between films.

I'd not mind a return of Brosnan as old man Bond, but be better as a two or three film separate reality spinoff, having him wrap up loose ends and having sex with younger hot 40-50ish year old women.

But we still need a new younger Bond to reboot and carry the franchise forward. They could also do the films simultaneously like they did with Connery and Moore.

Yeah ive heard something along those lines. Which is why I figured Caville will be deemed too old by Amazon/MGM.

My thinking is he wouldn't be the main character. Just some mystery helper revealed in the last act. Maybe a Star Trek Generations Kirk style sacrifice to help the new Bond 😂

Under 30 seems pretty young. Daniel Craig was supposed to be a younger Bond in Casino Royale and he was 36 at the time.

There can't be two James Bonds though. Unless it's revealed it's James Bond Junior, the illegitimate son he never knew he had. Dun dun duuun!

Seems to be what theyre going for.

But hoping thats false and they go with Caville.

They should pick Cavill and start filming this year. But do a movie every other year for 10-12 years. Now that Cavill's out of the DCEU, he's got the time.
