Agree on the part that characters' feats change all the time but the gap is too high in all honesty. PC Supes has statements of planet-shattering power and moon busting feats, N52 Supes has pushed Brainiac's starship with J'onn and his weaker counterpart, Ultraman, had also moved the moon...etc
But what has current Supes done? Despite his previous showing of tanking earth core at the beginning of Rebirth, he really lacks the showings to approach that level.

Superman hasn't done a single thing proving he has become more powerful than he was before New 52. Like I've always said, him merging with his New 52 counterpart brought him back to his original power, it did NOT amp him. He was weakened due to that part of him being taken from him, when they merged back, it made him complete again (post crisis Supes).

If you want to argue that it's not continuity, you're crazy
If you want to make a case that there is a disparity in power, please go on. There are many cases in comics; most notably Thor, Kal-L.
This current Superman is only ~16 months. You can't actually expect him to stack up as many feat as PFP Superman considering that he is 20+ years old.
What we can see so far suggest he is the same, if not, stronger.

N52 is half of the original superman in power, despite the fact that this guy was power lifting earth for 5 days with no sunlight.
It's pretty clear what happened in Superman Rebirth/Action Comics. It was just a spiritual type of combination so that the fans wouldn't get upset regarding N52 Superman not being "the" Superman
