Again, it only touched the ground for a fraction of a second, so it doesn't matter how long the lightning lasted, what's important is the duration it had when it caused the damage, in this case it was a fraction of a second.
Let me say it in simpler terms so you can understand. If I punch a punching bag 5 times then hit you with my 6th punch, you're not going to get hit with the energy or power of 5 accumulated strikes. You still only get hit with that one punch.
