The Witcher

Good make up should be enough though.

Dont know much about the game, but is SFX needed?

Well, the world has very strong magical elements to it.

I've seen Immortals. I would say a bit bigger than that would be ideal, if you compare shots of him in that film to how Geralt is portrayed in Witcher 3, for example:

Geralt is ****in hot.

I mean for Geralts look.

If they did, it probably wouldn't be much (possibly small eye tweaks in post-production to amplify the effects of contact lenses etc.).

They will more than likely require quite a bit of sfx for most monster/creature characters they decide to include though.

First look of Henry Cavill as Geralt:

LOL! It looks like he's getting ready to star in a gay porn parody based on The Witcher.

Netflix apparently seems so happy with what they have seen of Season 1 so far that they're considering renewing it for multiple seasons before it even airs.

Geralt looks great. The other two... eh. They aren’t bad but not good either. Yennefer in particular looks too young.

Geralt looks decent. Happy to see I was wrong in my first impression from the initial test. But yeah, agree on Yennefer looking too young.

I'm more worried about his voice. Doug Cockle is as integral to Geralt's character as his visual appearance is.

At this point I'd have been happy with a fully CGI series done by the same people who did all the trailer work for The Witcher III. They were all phenomenal.

Still, fingers crossed it works.

It's based on the books, not the game.

I like what's been shown so far. Yen and Ciri look to be too close age-wise for my taste, though.

Yeah, but the game is gonna be a big reason why a lot of people tune in.

Sure, but that doesn't matter.

Don't get the "gay porn" fantasy vibe that another got, but Caville doesn't look great in this pic, hair looks very fake, imo:

Not played the games or read the books, so I'm open to whatever though.

Yeah, that was the first pic that came out. It looked terrible tbh

You really should play Witcher III at least. It might just be my favourite game ever.
