Is anyone really excited for the Joker? I have always found the joker to be so lame.

The Killing Joke animated film was made just 2 years ago, we don't need a live action version parody of it made by some laughably incompetent crew.

I never watched it. I never liked the joker or even Batman though I did really like Batman begins.

DC boys were hoping it was just a meaningless camera test, but it seems WB really made him look like garbage and are sticking to it.

I imagine they're going to force Phoenix to mimick Ledger a lot.

Very lame. I wish he was a Punisher villain, so he'd be dead 20x over.
Shit taste my friend.

If any upcoming DC project has a chance to not only be solid, but to rise above the popcorn action films of the MCU like Logan did, it is the upcoming Joker film.

WB will probably find a way to ruin it though. 👆

My thoughts exactly...

I read that it was because they had to remove Wahlbergs Bionic Man from the next summer schedule, and that they didn't mind because WW was initially released during the summer anyway.

Thats the official stance, but to move it 7 months means theres probably more to it.

Some kind of retooling of the movie is likely Id say.

DC is going to two films a year starting in 2019 it seems. Plus WB does not want to hurt their other DC film Joker in any way.

Then you move one of them a few weeks, not 7 months.

Besides they didnt think of that when first setting the release dates?

Six Billion Dollar Man moved out of June so WB moved the film in that spot.

Move it when? A week before Frozen 2 and have it legs cut off? Summer makes more sense than that. The first one had great success there.

Plus it gives WB WW84 and BOP in one year.

^ I think its naeive to think this was moved 7months just for a better release date. It will face plenty completion in summer, so I dont get your point about Frozen 2.

Also why backwards why not move it forwards?

They are definitely reworking something. Either that or Quan is right that they are running scared from coming out the same year as Captain Marvel.

Frozen 1 was a 1.2 billion phenomenon and would cut WW84 off badly. That and a new Terminator with James Cameron involved opens in November also.

That said I get where you are coming from as WBs track record with this franchise is beyond pathetic at this point and also agree that WB is scared of Disney at this point.

This is the second time WW has moved away from a Disney film and it wont surprise me if Disney moved Mulan close to WW.

^ WB actually never had any faith in the first Wonder Woman film showcased by the fact that they never pre-signed a multi film deal with Patty Jenkins.

Also took them over a decade to get a Wonder Woman film onto the big screen, because they were always scared a female lead superhero film would not make bank.

Seriously? I just don't get what people see in the Joker, he's just some wanna be edgelord shit at this point. He's not even interesting. I'd way rather see more of DC's supernatural side. A few years back they did a pulpy detective animated The Spectre short, and despite it only being like 10 minutes long it's one of the best things they've ever done. DC has too many great unexplored properties to keep screwing around with some stupid clown that likes to poison people with laughing gas.

100 percent agree.

Taste is Relative. Some find Thanos to be a Dull and Boring Character. To each their own.

Thanos made 2 billion you dimwit. So the companies want something that banks like Thanos. Get mad.

Still found him to be very pedantic and unimpressive. Sorry.

Oh wait... No.. I aint.

And I seem to recall that the two movies the JOKER has been in have made some rather Decent BANK themselves....so...

He was in Avengers 1, 2 which both easily cleared a billion. Gotg 1 was a smash hit too. The movie that features him cleared 2 billion so yes Thanos destroys Superman and Batman butt****ing.

Nothing like Thanos. He is relegated to low budget shit. Second rate like the dceu.

And what did He DO exactly in those 3 movies? Lets See. He turned around and smiled in 1. He opened a cabinet in 2, and in GOTG He sat around and acted snarky.

OOHHHHH!!!!!! Thrilling Stuff!

The movie that featured him made the most. Warner would kill for a billion he 2 doubled that. Look we get it you are upset the dceu sucks.
