However, that writer is coming from the position that it's clearly absurd to call Obama lazy (except for the fact that Trump thinks black people are lazy) because Obama is clearly not lazy by any stretch of the imagination. They assume, in context with his other statement about black people being lazy, that it's just more racism from Trump.

IMO if they wanna talk about the context what they need to remember is that Trump specifically was pissed at Obama over him insulting him that one time(I think at a WHCD). So I feel like trying to take any insult about Obama and turn it into something about blacks in general requires one to ignore that.
Trump liked to go after Obama golfing, etc. so I feel the lazy thing comes from that too.
