ROTS Sidious vs Anakin

Sidious wins every time, not only is Anakin emotionally unstable but he hasn't nearly tapped into his potential enough to actually beat the Emperor in a straight up fight. The Chosen One the boy may be, but his future in this fight is clouded

Well - Rey's case is easy - because fans think that. But in Anakin's case - it is quite the opposite.

Put the boy out of his misery, Lord Sidious does. To compete with the Emperor, Yoda or Master Windu you have to be.

I don't even think Windu has much of a chance actually winning against the emperor, not in the force anyway.
