I wouldn't be surprised if he tried turning it into another Horcrux. No idea if that is possible, but it would be a pretty good one to have if it is, seeing as the thing is nigh-indestructible.

Voldemort is already evil so the One Ring can’t really corrupt him any further. Of course, he certainly won’t “tame” it or whatever nonsense. Since he is incredibly power hungry, he is going to fall victim to it more easily than most. Though in Voldemort’s case, it matters little as he is already evil and corrupt and the Ring will simply further bolster his powers further.
