Exactly, using Tumblr for porn is like going to a highly praised steakhouse and ordering the fish, sure you can, but why when steaks are their specialty.

Do people even still pay for porn? Apparently, since porn stars are still a thing, but why? You can find stuff for free online. The only reason to buy porn would be if you have some super rare fetish.

Plenty of people still pay for porn. Even PornHub which has a largely free content package has "premium memberships" which allow monthly subscriber to view non-public content, they also make money selling add-space based on their staggering 80+ million visits a day. I believe there's even professional and amateur members who upload their content to pornhub and you have to pay on a video-per-video basis to watch it, I suspect PornHub is taking a piece of that as well.
