Ok, serious answer:

Don't slander a man.

I'm not a racist. I'm an anti-semite.

Get it right, reputations depend on it.

The new Avengers line-up in the MCU will be Falcon Cap, Dr. Strange, Captain Marvel Danvers, Jane Foster Thor, Kate Bishop Hawkeye, the new She-Hulk, maybe War Machine or Pepper, and Scarlet Witch. Sooner rather than later.

Just watch. Steve is retired. Tony is dead. Thor is fat or probably going to retire in the next movie. They killed the Hulk in IW and Banner is a wimp for some reason. I wonder if the MCU is popular enough that it's self-sustaining and doesn't need the iconic original characters. I dk. I feel like, people really underestimate the draw of the classics. Otherwise it'd be a lot easier to create a new character or replace the original with a new character.

Look how hard they pushed Captain Marvel in comics and very few people still care. She never captured the popularity of Mar-Vell. They had to destroy Thor to make Jane relevant, but her sales are abysmal. It's clear the people who cared about Jane Foster the character are few and between.

Also, I hope Throgg doesn't die:

Honestly, I think all that steam they've built up will last them a little while before dying down. You don't have the iconic characters anymore. Do we know if the upcoming movies are going to be interconnected ones that lead to a team-up one? A decent portion of the MCU's success, I feel, was because even a casual would read an Ant-Man or GOTG review and go "Oh, it's an Avengers movie" and go see it so they can keep up with it.

I honestly think their best hope is to get F4 or X-Men off of the ground ASAP, and build a new interconnected universe around them.

Mar-vell was never popular. He is only known for dying.

😂

Well, it's true 👆

What do you think Amanda Waller is ?
A hero, anti-hero, low-key villain, extremist, pacifist, law enforcer, peace maker or a hooligan?

"Hooligan" 😂

Amanda fights the hardest battles:

Black women are particularly notorious for being known hooligans.

Sin recruits them 👆

KINDA disagree. comic readers don't matter to the mcu. You can see that in all the liberties they've taken for mass audience approval at the expense of characters people spent years/decades reading. It's harder to sell comic readers who've read peter parker religiously for decades on miles then it is to sell the current movie goer who has only known peter in 3 iterations across 7 movies many of which weren't that great the same change to a legacy character. The casual film audience has no ties to Clint Barton so dropping an early 20 something actress in as hawkeye who checks off their various boxes being young and sassy doesnt affect them who only know on screen clint as the boring old dude with a bow. As far as the mcu is concerned, quality talent is going to matter more then the characters

To be fair Kate Bishop is the best character out of that bunch (barring classic She Hulk)

1980's Waller was awesome. She stared down the F'n Batman, and threw him off her turf. She fought back against a deranged Ted Kord suffering from Queen Bee toxin.

Loved that version of Waller. She was still an arsehole, but had integrity and grit. Very much an anti-hero.

The character has since become much less sympathetic. Borderline full villian, who back stabs you at the drop of a hat.

Worlds of War, Superman is refusing to kill the other gladiators and has been getting killed and resurrected by mongol.

And old Superman takes his fight with Darkseid into the sun, make it go supernova killing both.
