I was just looking at some of the previews. Didn't see that spoiler, but jfc that's pretty next level.

Also, Dianna's god form...

I hope there's more context to this -- as the preview says, they're the highest order of being in the Multiverse. And the fact that Highfather [a supposed peer?] is there and Darkseid still kills them all is a bit... crazy.

I can only hope there's some amp shenanigans(like some of the stuff he pulled in JL: Odyssey) that make it more believable.

I'm....not sure how to feel about that. Any explanation?

Spoiler:
All his fractured selves (every past self) has merged into one

😂 Shows how fodder DC abstracts are, that's ****ing hilarious. Marvel will never let Jobberseid to a single thing to Eternity

Uh-huh.

So I'm assuming all of Highfather's fractured selves are not merged in such a way(otherwise they'd logically be about equal)..?

It's also interesting that 'true form' Darkseid is >> Spectre as well... But here we are, I guess. /shrug

I do not like this one bit, spectre has been on a constant jobbing spree for the last 10-15 years

True Form Seid is Barbara Batgirl level

Although I don't like how Marvel made Reed, Tony and Strange look like assholes for sending the Hulk into outer space, I was glad to see that Hulk changed his mind about killing them at the last minute, despite believing that they were responsible for the deaths of his people, wife and unborn child:

Source ― World War Hulk (2007) Issue #5.

When did Spectre become a member of the Quintessence? Didn't it just used to be PS?

since very early, he's always an unofficial member

Imo, Spectre should be above all the beings in the Multiverse [exceptions being the likes of Michael/Lucifer and Mxy that are by definition beyond it --- and the first two are essentially either dead or unrecognizable]. He is essentially a direct agent of the Source, too -- so to see him being destroyed at every turn [see Geoff Johns] is a bit shit.

I mean..

I don't understand how the 'past selves' thing works -- is it like him merging the avatars in each Universe within the Multiverse, or like... literally him merging with himself from yesterday, last week, last month etc. ad infinitum? We'll see, I guess.

It's crazy that Hulk punched out a being (Strange) that was amplified off of Abstract level power.

Hulk had a lot of crazy feats in that story. I didn't read all the tie ins, but his battle with the X-Men was also crazy.

that was hal spectre, the last era where spectre had the respect he deserved

also darkseid revived back immediately

Spectre reminds of Parallax in his costume in that panel

Spoiler:
Supposedly Seid killed his other versions(?). This troo?

Also Quintessence is Highfather, Wizard Shazam, Phantom Stranger, Ganthet, and Hera. Spectre I think is not part of the group. Maybe he's an overseer of some sort...(?)

Spectre is also with them.

Not sure, got the spoilers from twitter.
