If the Invincible comic book series was in the DC Universe, and Superman reads the entire run before traveling to their universe, how do you think he'd take to Mark? And everyone else, for that matter?
You know, what with the murders, breaking villians out of jail and accidentally flooding half the planet, all the moral compromises?
Ok, take the same scenerio and put Wolverine there. Would Logan be phased? Or say "Too much"?

That train scene, WTF
Kirkman is running with the "world made of cardboard" theme in this... Showing the carnage that a few Superman analogues could actually cause in the real world.
Like Nolan razing that alien world by flying at relativistic speeds. droolio

Hardened criminals and vets with multiple tours would have issues with some of that stuff.
If Superpman saw the train scene I just watched he wouldn't give two shits about omni going to Arkham. He would go bonkers on his ass.
Gonna be a lot harder to walk back all the stuff Nolan did when he turns.
The Guardians of the Globe thing was bad enough, but at least it was restricted to the heroes who would have stopped his conquest. Massacring innocent civilians is a whole different level is atrocity. Like bombing hospitals vs military targets.

I vaguely remember him giving Mark a somewhat similar speech in the comics but nothing like what he did. Im gonna rewatch Scorpions Revenge to see which is more gory.
The speech was the same. And I think some civilians died in the struggle off panel.
But Nolan never went out of his way to do what he did to that poor pilot. Animated Nolan is a stone cold murderer, compared to the conflicted comic book Nolan who only did what he had to do to complete his mission for the empire.
More or less the difference between a kid who disposes of an ant in the home, and a kid who pulls the legs off insects for kicks.
I dont think people understand why Invincible characters are getting pieces ripped off of them when fighting PEERS or superiors. Some people see it as them being weak without understanding the true concept of what is going on. Just because Thragg can punch a hole in OMNI man doesn't mean Colossus could scratch him, lol.

So the Invincible adaptation sucks balls? Gotcha
Its different. Like Carol is different between adaptations.
If they try and go the same route in the redemption arc as the comic, that could be bs. Fuzzy family man Nolan who suddenly cares about saving lives after seeing the error of his ways just won't cut it here.
