Dragon Ball durability was always sketchy. Guldo almost killed Krillin and Gohan with a sharpened stick, Goku and Vegeta in the ToP were using rocks as weapons, lava hurt Vegeta in the God of Destruction tournament... I could go on.

You're a new fan, and I've been into Dragon Ball for decades now. Honestly, I'm a far bigger fan then Carver or Stilt could ever be, because I've read the entirety of the manga several times over, know the anime inside and out, and have been on several forums with experts who make Galan look like a pleb.

I can't match Galan in the Japanese source books and such, so he's the better fan, but you're taking your talking points from the Carvers, after only just fangasming to all the explosions and seizure inducing animations..
