And done. Finally managed to get through V for Vendetta. Was not easy at times.
I don't see what the fuss is. Most of the characters are cardboard cutouts with depth as deep as a puddle. The villains have no redeeming qualities whatsoever, V himself comes across as a Joker lite, and the story is merely "Facism bad, anarchy good."
Essentially, this is Alan Moore's version of Atlas Shrugged. The entire point is to promote his idea of what Anarchy is, and how it should work.
