One Piece on the rise

https://thenewspocket.com/one-piece-beats-batman/

This week it was announced that One Piece's worldwide sales have reached a total of 490 million units. This puts the massively popular shonen series ahead of Batman's lifetime sales, which currently stand at around 480 million according to various sources. Now that Batman has been moved down to the third best selling series, it's possible One Piece could overtake Superman to become the best selling comic series of all time. Since his creation in 1938, Superman has currently sold approximately 600 million units in total, yet One Piece has managed to surpass Batman and Spider-Man's lifetime sales since its debut in 1997. Although the One Piece manga is nearing the end of its story according to the mangaka Eiichiro Oda, who has stated that One Piece will continue for another 5 years. Nonetheless, given the recent lacklustre sale rankings of Philip Kennedy Johnson's Superman titles, this news highlights the ever growing sales of Japanese manga and the possibility that one series could take the top spot away from the world's first superhero.

I think your post tested his intelligence, tbf.

Finally read the Superman/Authority issue.

Enjoyed Superman's characterization quite a bit... Because Superman is progressively getting depowered, Morrison seems to be going the tactical super-genius route with him, which isn't a side we often get to see. 👆

I like the issue, but how ****ing old is Superman supposed to be right now?

I was wondering the same thing.

And I mentioned this before, but Superman gives me heavy Tom Strong vibes here.

That's it. I was wondering who that cover remindes me of.

Maybe it's just a side effect of him losing his powers - so 'real time' is catching up to him. 50s? How long in comics has he been in Metropolis

I actually more curious about Lois, Jim and other supposedly normal human people.

Superman at least has kryptonian physiology as an excuse.

More confirmation that Perpetua is multiversal+

Then what do you think it says?

Am curious to know what Carver says. Also:

Thought they once said Superman, Aquaman and I think Wonder Woman was the most powerful force in the OMNIverse? They stole that Galaxy line from when they said Gladiator is the most powerful being in the Galaxy.

Scans?

Thanos sneak attacks Eternals who beat the shit out of him.

Teambuster lol

Thanos is no Hulk or Superman.
