Synmar was being attacked by Naomi (yellow energy; Adam's is blue) and all their energy was amping Synmar.
Adam was being thrown back in the panel you talk about with the angles, though. If there was attacking going on, it wasn't from Adam - the energy is yellow. You see him in the next panel with Hawkgirl, all WWH Sentry-like.
Another reading could be he was taking in energy from all angles, absorbing it like a SPirit Bomb.

I've never said Adam wasn't being thrown back by the energy that was being thrown at Synmar by his teammates. What I did say is, pages before this, Adam treated him like fodder and did better than the entirety of the team.

This is sad. Synmar is being attacked. The attack is powerful enough to push Adam back and make it look like Synmar is being baked (you can see his skeleton).
Him absorbing energy have nothing to do with Black Adam flying backwards from an attack that is being thrown at him. You're changing your stance. Just admit that you're comprehension is lac... I mean, that you messed up so that we can move on.

Synmar's an energy feeder who amps off energy, fighting an energy wielder who isn't trying to BFR him. Of course BA is going to get more energy attacks in - if I were fighting a guy who kept throwing money at me, I'd let him hit me with as many stacks of bills as he can throw lmao, vs the guy who is using his superspeed and trying to throw me across the parking lot.
One guy is going to get a LOT more attacks in, whilst I would try to fight the other guy harder. I mean, sure, the stacks of money hitting my head would still hurt me - I never said it wouldn't - but I'm still going to let the guy throw his attacks at me. Maybe I can even catch some of those stacks.

First, We can see Synmar was using Yellow Energy when BA attacking him

Synmar then immediately flying to Naomi while JL barely found their footing in no condition to fight

Now look closely, the lightning energy that previously covered Synmar body begun changing into Yellow Energy and Naomi wasnt doing any attack

And then Carver came in and said in this dialogue, "It" was referring to other JLers attacks
So lets move to the next panel, Here it stated
"Naomi sees other leaguers from past and present Descending on the hall, Pouring in from every direction

So obviously, Other JLers moved at this location only moments ago, And now Batman pointing out who is the enemy. And of course these JL members attacking Synmar before is very unlikely

So is "it" referring to the lightning energy that Synmar was being covered that we clearly see, Or is referring to JLer's attacks which we didnt see in these scans?
But all in all, whether you want to interpret "it" was referring JLers attacking him or "it" was referring to the lightning energy that Synmar absorbed and transformed. This scene doesnt necessarily show BA did better job than entire JL combined as I and DS pointed out.

The movie Sin City 2 was pretty good, no idea why its rated so low.
I almost think Frank Millar was being intentionally ironic even calling it "Sin City". Dwight has a heart of gold and helps people, Marv has a heart of gold, helps people, never hits a woman, and kicks your ass if you even look at a woman sideways, Old City women have hearts of gold and only want to a safe place for women.
I mean, yeah there's the creeps, the dirty governor, the dirty cops, but compared to Irredeemable or Wanted, or even Marvel and DC mainstream sometimes, the place is full of angels.
