Better question, why didn’t he healed himself before speaking.

Let's say the ring is out of charge, he's been in a fight, manages to get away, and get his lantern out.

Is he essentially phucked if he can't articulate the words?? Never knew that.

I thought the rings could charge themselves if the ring wilder wields it when they are around the battery source without saying the oath?

Johns has a few scenes where they literally shove the ring in to a power source without saying the oath and it charges. Dunno about before that though, I haven't read that stuff in donkey's years.

He should just be able to think/will the oath, because a ****ing speech impediment should not be able to render a GL ring powerless.

Yeah that's what I thought...

I also seem to recall the oath was just used as a timing thing? Once he finished saying it, the ring was at 100%..

I know in Red Son, Luthor said the oath was a password to unlocking it's abilities, but different universe, obvs.

Ah but on a forum? Would you really go into that thread and just get splinters by sitting on the fence?

Considering, as Sin points out, we (both you and I obv) have expended pages upon pages of text and effort on the word 'budge', lmao.

I already told u he has done nutty weather feats with seemingly little to no effort. He has also done nutty feats where it looked like he was really concentrating.

If power is what ure asking for, not sure... But his weather feats are so crazy it should be enuff to convince people.

Darksaint: Hulk and Thor, facing each other 100 metres away. Hulk can only try to resist the wind, Thor can only use wind.

Will Hulk fly off? Lmao.

Celey wants to say that Thor wouldn't break a sweat and easily lift the 1000lb Hulk up.

Celey: You presume too much.

Really, Celey? So you DON'T want to say that Thor won't break a sweat, but instead want to say 'he can do it easily, but he can also do it with a lot of effort?'

Fair enough. As long as we agree he CAN do it, and Hulk can't get so angry he 'evolves' past moving air, lmao.

Seems very strange that Hulk can make it so TK won't work on him, but air absolutely would 😂

U keep lolling and putting words in my mouth. When did I say tk wont work on him? R u implying that I believe tk wont work?

So no one is going to point out Black Adam doing better against Synmar than the combined might of the JLA, including Superman?

Right. I think you are typing things out too quickly - maybe you need a timeout?

Just noticed something. Cable tried to lift Hulk off the ground with his TK but couldn't budge him...

He couldn't move him with TK. It is what it is. You can try to avoid all you want but TK was ineffective against Hulk.

Just read the issues. Carver is on the right track i think. That Cable showing doesnt really make sense real world-wide, but Hulk has those off the wall showings for a flightless brick. Comics...

Keep laughing. His TK was ineffective, irrelevant. I don't think many laughed except maybe you. 🤔

Anyways, Hulk>TK. Let's move on.

Glad we realize TK fails against an angry Hulk, now can we move on past this.

So sure, Carver is on the right track, eh? Because this is where the road is leading us - Cable failed, Hulk got angry and overpowered him, Hulk's anger is limitless, so his ability to overpower TK is limitless. This is what is being ultimately argued.

This is why I brought up Odin. If Odin tried using his TK to lift Hulk up, and Hulk was only allowed to stand there and resist with his anger/muscles - who eventually wins?

And this is why I brought Thor with his winds up. You and I both agree Thor can and would simply fling Hulk up into the air if he tried using his winds.

Carver would argue he eventually gets so angry, no amount of wind would lift him.

Didnt later Black Adam get blown away like JL did in last issue?

Again i dont care what Carver would eventually argue.

It seemed ure implying that I said tk wont work which would be incorrect.

I strongly suggest you get some medical care, for your brain or eyes or both

The ALIEN takes it from all angles. HE IS BEING ATTACKED, he isn't doing the attacking. Like wtf. That's why the next panel say "even all of this isn't going to stop the madness. 😂

And you say I'm the one who needs medical care.

It say "the alien takes it from all angles". Are you implying Black Adam is the alien? Who is the alien and what are they taking?

Lmao.

Synmar is absorbing the energy attacks. They're feeding him. Adam isn't doing better than anyone else - if anything, he's doing worse because he's actually amping Synmar.
