Looking at the numbers wokeness really is leading to brokeness.
Hollywood is bleeding money right now, and streaming services simply don't have the same amount of money. And comics of course only exist to mine ideas for movies and TV.
With the cost of movies,. no they are not. Advertising isn't getting any cheaper, and a small budget "indy" often spends even more on it than the film. Hollywood used to have about three weeks to make fifty percent box office gross, now its down to a single week to hit half because the receipts are so low. Of course the pandemic is to blame for a lot of losses, but people still aren't going back in the same numbers since reopening.
And its no wonder, nothing good is coming. It's all mediocre garbage.
