Infinity Formula works only if you take regular doses of it.

Once you stop, you age rapidly to shit.

Sin didn't do her homework again. Women shouldn't be allowed anywhere near comics.

And yeah, Original Sin was bad, but it did address that issue, there is no error and it's consistent with how the formula always has worked.

Yeah. I had assumed that if it was the Infinity Formula it would be the same way it used to be, and that's fine with me. I just didn't know if they had changed the source of his youth to be something else in the last few years.

You know, you do sound like you're protesting a bit too much. Your desire for Sin is obvious. You should probably embrace it.

Hmmm you really didn't negate anything I said. But good post

Galan, read this week's Batman/Superman.

Happy Masturbation 👆

Needed an early morning fap. 👆

So Mxy gives Calendar Man a hat that allows him to slide forward and backward in the comic book panels themselves -- and even manipulate those events to an extent(side note: since when has CM hit hard enough to rock Superman, lol?)

But the even more impressive piece of 5D tech that Mxy gave him was the "crossing off pen", which can completely alter the narrative/plot of the story itself by simply drawing an "X" over it, lol.

DC has been pretty consistent about writing Mxy to a very high level for quite a while now. That's at least one thing they've gotten right. 👆

wonder what would happen if mxy used the pen to cross off perpetua or darkest night?

The story of Batman is even stronger than Superman sneer Darkest Knight would have tanked it.

Mxy's personal derby hat contains a universe, but the hat he gave Calendar Man was just a duplicate, which gave him one specific metafictional power: to see/move between the comic book panels(and evidently amped his physical stats as well, given that he was rocking Superman.)

So no, I do not think Superman HV'ing CM's duplicate hat equates to him universe-busting, because CM's hat =/= Mxy's hat... The hat was still a piece of 5D tech, though, so that's still something, I suppose. /shrug

Perpetua was many things, but she was never depicted as a metafictional entity. Mxy very much is.

So it would indeed be interesting to see how Mxy-level metafictional tech would stack up against Perpetua-level power.

Which are the difference between the sixth dimension of the Cathexis and the sixth dimension of Perpetua and his sons? Is the same dimension?

Solid issue but disappointing that Constantine Drakon lost too soon. Same with Raptor. Pretty uber feat for XXL that he beat him and without powers.

Seems weird that it's a fighting tourney but powers are allowed.

The 6th dimension has been retconned into the highest level of existence in DC's current superstructure... A plane of actuality that not even Mxy can easily enter.

When Waid wrote the Cathexis storyline, however, the 6th dimension was definitely not the cosmological outlier that it is now. Back then, Mxy, for example, could casually bounce into the 7th dimension for the lulz:

*And for what it's worth, everything the Cathexis did, Mxy can(and has) done with FAR less effort... Though I suppose you could say the same thing about Perpetua as well. /shrug

I thought he used to but gave up.

Per MotherBox, flying directly through a supermassive black hole requires "a proper fifth-dimensional scattering field and molecular shielding":

So I assume anyone in DC who can/has endured something like that must have similar abilities to those MB listed(even if it has never been stated.) /shrug

*This entire Mister Miracle series has been pretty huge for MotherBox feats/capabilities, btw.

Also, Omniversal intricacies are explained via donut analogy...

Not following this series. Aside from mothbox part, Is it worth reading?

The first few issues were subpar, but the last few issues(and presumably the finale) have been enjoyable, imo.

As mentioned, it's definitely worth a read if you've ever been curious what MotherBox is capable of in tactical/combat situations, as it is basically acting as Shilo's partner in this series. An interesting thing, for example, is that MB passively absorbs/recharges itself with the energies of the Source.

Both from ambient Source energy that naturally exists in the universe:

And directly from the proverbial "tap":

What series is that
