Comic Book Questions & Discussion

Everyone asks why Tony Stark never used Vibranium or Adamantium.

I kind of like that he never needed to. His own genius makes the Iron Man suit work, with the miniature arc reactor and force fields. He don't need no super metals, he invents his own super tech.

He did make a suit out of adamantium.

And the arc reactor exists only in MCU.

As always, you have no idea on the subject you're bringing up.

End yourself. Slit your wrists and jump out of the window. Please.

The coal look? Like graphite?

Golden form was the backup of sort.

After Doom stole his power, Surfer tried switching to the golden form, only to find out that it's also been completely drained.

The new black look has nothing to do with it, that's current intangible Surfer.

You are the only poster racist enough to consider black and gold/yellow to be the same thing.

Why did he stop using it then?

He definitely never used Vibranium.

My point was Adamantium and Vibranium are the go-to plot devices. Black Panther uses them, weapon X uses them, they're linked to Captain America's shield, Pym uses them in Ultron.

Tony makes all his super tech from scratch. No idea who invented the Arc Reactor, but Tony shrunk it down. That's all his genius.

If the Arc Reactor didn't exist, I bet Tony would invent it, or a substitute.

HOWARD STARK INVENTER IT!

Figured as much but wasn't certain.

Even better, that makes the Arc Reactor a family legacy. The Starks turn their nose up at pre-existing super tech, and create their own in house.

That's also the reason I admire Batman not adapting Promethium like Slade does. All his battarangs are super tough conventional plastics, his body armor is conventional (More or less possible using real world science).

Sure, Batman used freeze guns and scarecrow gas, so he does steal other peoples tech. But I see the use of "super metals" as a cheap shortcut. Adamantium swords, promethium armor, Nth metal, Vibranium, New Genesis mother boxes, ect.

Much more respect for characters who choose not to use the super indestructible or super versatile metals or super advanced technologies.

Be silent if you have no knowledge on the subject. You suck at googling shit, too.

The point you are so desperately trying to make is fine, by the way... I'll give you that, at least... but you are so clumsy about it, it literally hurts my eyes and brain.

What did I say that was wrong?

Don't tell me Batman uses promethium armor or apokoliptian battarangs or something.

Even though Mongul tapped that a**, Superman will to live is far better than most and he is extremely honorable. Don't know why Mongul just won't kill him and call it a day, guessing plot have a lot to do with this.

...We're why, carv. We're why.

That unhealthy obsession with old midget men is probably the Anti-Bran Equation...

Carver being too much of a pussy to disagree with a mod is always amusing.

"Let's just say we differ in our opinions, we can all have different opinions" -Carver9, 2006,2097,2008, 2009,2010,2011,2012,2013,2014,2015,2016,2017,2018,2019,2020,2021,2022....

👆

Also, the fight between Iron God and Korvac was meh... Though it was interesting to see Tony 'port Korvac to the lifeless universe that Doom nuked with the UN.

It's not as bad as Cdtm keeping mentioning Galan in GDF, even though Galan doesn't even go there.

Eww.

That was a nice callback. But yeah, they just devolved to throwing planets at each other. Shame.

I'm also enjoying DC Vs Vampires, btw

I suspect Stilt, Pr, Galan, and DDM are the same person.

PS. Don't go there, it's a f*cking war zone.

Pr wishes he was Stilt.
